Structure of Immersion Thermocouples
The fast thermocouple is mainly composed of a temperature measuring thermocouple tip and a large paper tube.
The thermocouple tip is welded to the compensation wire by positive and negative wires. The compensating wire is embedded in the support. A small paper tube is placed outside the bracket. Thermocouple wires are supported and protected by quartz. The outside is equipped with anti-slag cap.
Structural Features of SEFU Immersion Thermocouple
- The welding of the two hot electrodes that make up the fast thermocouple is firm.
- The two thermodes are well insulated from each other.
- The connection between the compensation wire and the free end of the thermocouple is convenient and reliable
- The protective sleeve ensures that the thermode is fully isolated from harmful media
Precautions for Using Expendable Thermocouples
- The selected instrument and the set graduation number are consistent with those of the compensation wire and thermocouple.
- The secondary instrument should be calibrated regularly, the correct type of compensation wire should be selected and the circuit should be firmly connected.
- The temperature measuring point should be found in the part with less steel slag. If the steel slag in the furnace is too thick, other tools should be used to remove the steel slag before measuring the temperature.
