Application of Thermal Analysis Technology in Iron Plants
After the operator obtains the molten iron sample through the ceramic fiber sampling spoon, it is injected into the thermal analysis cup. The connected thermal analyzer can quickly determine the carbon equivalent (CE), carbon content (C%) and silicon content (Si%) of the molten iron.
The thermal analysis cup uses special ceramic materials and thermocouples protected by quartz tubes. The temperature measurement accuracy can reach ±2℃. This instant detection capability enables the foundry to adjust the charge ratio in real time, effectively control production costs, and reduce the scrap rate by 15%-20%.
Actual delivery of thermal analysis sample cups
